Grammar Notes & Usage Tips
•Use を with 引く to show what is being pulled—like ドアを引く (pull the door); don’t use に here, that would be a mistake.
•When talking about subtracting numbers, use 引く between them—like 5引く2は3 (5 minus 2 is 3); no extra particles are needed.
•引く can also mean "to catch" a cold, so say かぜを引く (catch a cold), not かぜに引く—を is the correct particle here.
