Grammar Notes & Usage Tips

続く (つづく) is an intransitive verb, so it doesn’t take を—use が to mark what is continuing (e.g., 雨が続く = The rain continues).
To say something continues into a place or time, use に (e.g., 来週にも続く = It continues into next week).
Don’t confuse 続く (to be continued) with 続ける (to continue something)—use 続ける when you are actively doing or continuing something yourself.
