Grammar Notes & Usage Tips
•勉強 is usually used with the particle を, like in 日本語を勉強します (I study Japanese) — don’t forget the を!
•Because 勉強 is a "suru" verb, you use 勉強します for polite speech and 勉強した for past tense — not 勉強ました (which is incorrect).
•You can add で after a place to show where you study, like 図書館で勉強します (I study at the library).
