How to use Wasureru: grammar notes
•Use を after the thing you forgot — for example, パスポートを忘れました means “I forgot my passport.”
•Don't say に or で after the thing you forgot — remember to always use を with 忘れる.
•To say you forgot to do something, use the verb in its dictionary form + のを忘れました, like 宿題をするのを忘れました (“I forgot to do my homework”).
