•Use 連れる when you're taking a person or an animal somewhere with you—unlike 持つ, which is for objects.
•The person you're taking is marked with を, and the place you’re going to is usually marked with に or へ.
•Don’t use 連れる for things—saying "カバンを連れます" is incorrect; use 持ちます instead.
