Turning Adjectives into Adverbs

い-Adjectives → く

Drop い, add く:

Adjective Adverb Meaning
早(はや)い 早(はや)く early, quickly
遅(おそ)い 遅(おそ)く late, slowly
暖(あたた)かい 暖(あたた)かく warmly
安(やす)い 安(やす)く cheaply

な-Adjectives → に

Replace な with に:

きれい きれいに beautifully, cleanly
元気(げんき) 元気(げんき)に energetically
静(しず)か 静(しず)かに quietly
上手(じょうず) 上手(じょうず)に skillfully
