How to use Hanasu: grammar notes
•Use を after the language or topic you're speaking—for example, 日本語を話します (I speak Japanese); don’t say 日本語が話します.
•To say "speak with someone," use と—for example, 友だちと話しました (I spoke with a friend).
•When saying where you're speaking, use で—for example, 学校で話します (I speak at school), not 学校に話します.
