How to use Kaimono: grammar notes
•When saying "I do shopping" in Japanese, use 買い物をします (kaimono o shimasu) — don’t forget to include を before します!
•To say where you shop, use で with the place: スーパーで買い物をします means "I shop at the supermarket."
•買い物 by itself is a noun, so you usually need する or します to turn it into an action — saying just 買い物です doesn’t mean "I’m shopping."
