How to use Torikaeru: grammar notes
•Use 取り替える with the particle を to mark the thing you're replacing or exchanging — for example, 電池を取り替える means "to replace the battery."
•When you're exchanging one thing for another, use と to show what it's being swapped with — like 席を友だちと取り替えた (I exchanged seats with my friend).
•Don’t confuse 取り替える with 変える (to change); 取り替える is for switching one item with another, not just changing its state.
