How to use Yaseru: grammar notes
•痩せる (やせる) usually uses the particle が to mark the person losing weight, like in 「彼が痩せました」 (He lost weight).
•Don't use を with 痩せる—since it's an intransitive verb, you’re not doing the action to something else.
•To say someone wants to lose weight, use 痩せたい, as in 「私は痩せたいです」 (I want to lose weight).
