て Form

Convert 飲む (to drink) to て form: 飲____

Answer: んで

む belongs to the む/ぶ/ぬ group → んで. 飲む → 飲んで.

は Particle (Topic)

コーヒー____飲むけど、紅茶____飲まない。(I drink coffee but don't drink tea.)

Answer: は / は

は is used for CONTRAST. Comparing coffee (drink) vs tea (don't drink). Double は marks the contrast.

ます Form (Polite)

Convert 泳ぐ (to swim) to ます form: 泳____ます

Answer:

U-verbs: change to い-row. ぐ → ぎ. 泳ぐ → 泳ぎます.

ば Form (Conditional)

What is the ば form of 安い (cheap)?

Answer: 安ければ

For i-adjectives, drop い and add ければ. 安い → 安ければ.
